AI Tools

This section covers operational tooling that helps prepare, run, verify, or maintain AI-assisted development environments. It is intentionally separate from Prompt Engineering and from agent-skill design.

What belongs here​

  • repository setup and bootstrap scripts;
  • doctor, verification, and maintenance helpers;
  • reusable configuration and template assets;
  • repository-owned AI tooling implementation architecture, lifecycle, security, and validation guidance;
  • CodexPro setup and operational guidance;
  • ChatGPT Web for Codex: use ChatGPT Web models, including account-available Pro, inside the native Codex workflow;
  • the Codex AI Tooling installer and repository-local AI tooling;
  • operational guidance for installing, updating, repairing, and troubleshooting tooling.

What does not belong here​

Prompt-writing methodology belongs under Prompt Engineering. MCP concepts and server usage belong under MCP. Skill authoring, reusable agent skills, and agent policies belong under Agents & Skills.

This separation keeps operational tooling from becoming a catch-all category as the toolkit grows.
